U1 sucks down bandwidth, even with nothing to sync

Bug Description

I have U1 connected, and my files are synced.
cat ~/.config/ubuntuone/syncdaemon.conf gives:

[bandwidth_throttling]
read_limit = 10240
write_limit = 5120
on = True

I know about the upload/download speed not saving in the GUI, but I thought that they syncdaemon.conf file would be correct.

However, every few minutes, an upload to couchdb-one-ubuntu-com.calamansi.canonical.com takes place. This upload (currently at 68.2Kb/s according to Conky) does not throttle according to my settings above. On my slow DSL line, this completely maxes out my connection, and makes my Remote Desktop (for my job) *completely* unusable.

Some more info:

State: QUEUE_MANAGER

    is_error: False
    is_online: True

Jeremy,
Thank you for taking the time to file this bug. Sorry U1 is not working as expected. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs as fast as we would like.
There have been many changes in Ubuntu One since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test the current Ubuntu One version (1.2.2-0ubuntu2). If you can test it, and it is still an issue, we would appreciate if you could upload updated logs by running apport-collect 556771 .

After you attach the logs you can change the 'Status' of your bug back to 'New'. The status of a bug report can be modified by clicking on the current status in the yellow line, which will reveal a sub menu. You can then set a new status in the drop down box.

thank you,
duanedesign
