document management system

Hi,
I have installed the Document management system and added a new folder.

Under this folder added a new file as attachement.

I could see the attached doc file and when i select the the new folder that i created.

when i select the Document , am getting the below details in the attachment tab.

Data
File Content: 8.00 bytes Save As
Filename: Requirement Gethering and Analaysis.txt
Preview

Why The preview coloumn is blank.?

If i select the Save As button, the document is getting opened.
Why the attached document is not getting opened when i select the attached document without selecting the Save As button?

Hi,

OS is Windows 7 and OpenERP version is 5.0.7.

I have installed the

All in one for windows from the openerp.com site.

i have not installed anything else manually apart from the All in one windows

Hello Bushair,

If you attached any image file(like .png,.bmp,.jpg) then It will display in preview section.
If you attached .txt, .pdf, .doc file then It will display text content in Indexed Content Tab.
