No, the patch did not help. The modules build failed with error 10.

Benjamin, could you please attach a new build log after applying the patch? I don't have a system with the 2.6.33 kernel, and "error 10" doesn't describe an actual compile problem that I'm aware of.

I installed the mainline kernel 2.6.33-020633, but dkms was not triggered.
