Bug Description

Binary package hint: gbrainy

Lucid Lynx.
Latest updates installed.

I gave the answer "ACH" or maybe "ach" to a question about which three figures that can make a triangle and it said that I was wrong and the right answer is "HCA".

I get a slightly different problem where it says the correct answer is a different combination each time..

I think I might have found the problem, it seems that gbrainy generates a random answer to be displayed as the example answer just below the question. But somehow the source has got confused and is using the random answer as the "correct" answer.

I'll try and do some work on it tonight/tommorrow and hopefully patch it then.

Hello,

Can someone include in this bug report a screenshot showing the problem?

Thanks,

Jordi,

I have only just realised how stupid I have been :/.

The answers are different each time because the shapes are different... How embarrassing... I make these mistakes when i'm tired.

@Jordi: Whilst trying to find a screenshot showing the bug instead of finding evidence proving the bug, my evidence disproved it....

The only difference I can see between mine and the reporter's set-up is that he is using 64bit. Could another 64bit user please confirm whether this affects them or not, because I do not have access to a 64bit system.

My answer to the question was ach and it showed that. Similar to the other questions, which also seem to work.

I'll try to recreate the bug and see if it happens again. Anyways, here is a screenshot.
