Bug Description
Binary package hint: update-manager
I originally installed Ubuntu 9.10 64 bit on my computer. I then installed the Kubuntu-desktop package and moved to KDE. I decided after waiting many months that the Ubuntu/Kubuntu 10.04 Beta 1 would be stable enough for install. So, I ran the usual update-manager -d command. I recieved the error "'E:Couldn't configure pre-depend libc6-i386 for lib32asound2, probably a dependency cycle.'Restoring original system state". I then tried update-notifier-kde -d the same error came up. I tried both several times and in the end came here.
