Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox

When I search something via the search bar, the localized version of yahoo is used (German in my case).
But if I search something via the start page, it shows me the english version of yahoo (Google is the same).

Thank you for reporting this to Ubuntu. This is no longer relevant as Firefox will be switching back to Google for the Lucid release. Please report any other issues you may find.

Changed in firefox (Ubuntu):
status: New → Invalid

With Google there is the same problem. This was already in karmic so.
The search bar uses the local version, but the startpage always uses the english version of Google.

Should I open up a new issue on Google search?
This has been marked as invalid.
Also what's the case when yahoo was selected in the search bar. Won't the startpage also show yahoo? Then this bug wouldn't be invalid.
