Bug Description

I attach a patch that allows using custom packages in the LaTeX equation extension. Packages should be passed as a comma-separated list. One advantage is that other fonts than Computer Modern can be used (e.g. sans-serif flavours, see screenshot: http://www.stimfit.org/Screenshot.png) - this is particularly relevant because of the lack of proper sub- and superscripting for scientific drawings (see bug #170324).

Thank you very much for this patch, it is nice!
However, it has a small bug. When the additional packages text field is left empty, it no longer works. (it does work when a space is entered)
If you can fix this, I'll apply the patch to trunk.
Thanks again! :)

Oops, I'm sorry, should have tested this. I've attached a corrected patch. Default field value was set to a float instead of an empty string.
