gnucash uninstallable due to dependency on slib

Binary package hint: gnucash

gnucash won't install on lucid (attempted on 4/3/2010). It fails with the following dependency errors:

gnucash:
 Depends: slib (>=3a2-5) but it is not installable
 Depends: guile-1.6-slib but it is not going to be installed

Same: unable to install gnucash due to these unsatisfied dependencies.

The lucid packages indicate that slib is not available. See http://packages.ubuntu.com/hu/lucid/devel/guile-1.6-slib.
A work-around was to install the karmic version from http://packages.ubuntu.com/karmic/slib. Then, gnucash installs OK.

Slib should be available in lucid. That is what this bug about.

Thanks to this gnucash can't even be installed in lucid.

This is caused via a circular dependency between scm and slib. slib Build-Depends: scm, and scm Depends: slib.

Built the package from Debian testing locally with this patch, installed gnucash, and did some very basic sanity testing. (Opened it, ran through the wizard, added an account, and added a couple of transactions)

I had to install beta2 yesterday. With lucid-proposed and lucid-backports activated, I haven't had this problem ever since.
