invalid unicode in description

Ubuntu Lucid's Software Center reports:

Invalid unicode in description for 'deja-dup' ('utf8' codec can't decode bytes in position 17-19: invalid data). Please report.

This should be fixed ASAP as this is a "featured" application.

What happens if you start software-center like this:
$ LANG=C software-center

I don't have this problem on neither LANG=C, nor ro_Ro (Romanian).

Luis, brian, could you please try to reproduce with the latest version of software-center.
If it's reproducible with the latest version in Lucid, then provide the output of the following commands:
$ apt-cache policy software-center
$ ls /var/lib/apt/lists/*Translation*
