Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox

I don't have any sound in my Ubuntu. I've updated my 9.10 version to this 10.4 beta, and with the previous release I didn't have any sound and that follows in the same way with the new Ubuntu.

I have another O.S. in my computer (Windows..) and with it, there is no problem

There' s no novelty about my problem with sound.
Now, I've installed Lucid Lynx from zero but I don't have sound at all.
Curiously, I have installed too Ubuntu 10.4 in a Sun Virtualbox into the Windows partition in my computer and here, sound works.

Any solution?

Fran, are you trying to get sound from the onboard soundcard or the USB sound card? If it is the USB one, it's volume is muted.
