apport pops up a pane stating bug already reported, look in the web browser. But it is not there

Binary package hint: apport

After a bail-out of UbuntuOne, apport was kicked in, did some munching, and reported:

"This problem was already reported in the bug report displayed in the web browser. Please check if you can add any further information that might be helpful for the developers."

But:

(1) no new tab/window was opened on any web browser;
(2) no web browser was started to display the bug.

The browser opens after you close the popup, which is not intuitive at all (nor is it what the popup says).
