Bug Description
Binary package hint: compiz
On a clean installation of Lucid from 20100331.2 daily Live CD, I attempted to enable "Extra" visual effects from the Appearance Preferences window. Ubuntu searched for drivers, and then installed the nvidia 173 driver, rather than the current version (I believe, 195).
If the current version is marked [Recommended] in the Hardware Drivers applet, shouldn't we follow our own advice and prefer it?

I think this bug can be closed. At least for me, I experienced this problem in the Lucid beta, but it was already fixed in Lucid final.
