Bug Description

Binary package hint: ureadahead

Every time I boot into my Lucid, I have the same error message:

  init: ureadahead-other main process (801) terminated with status 4

I attach /var/log/boot.log for reference.

I see the same message.

init: ureadahead-other main process (621) terminated with status 4
then the same message repeated with a different pid, 669

then 5 repetitions of:
could not write bytes: Broken pipe
with line feeds but not carriage returns between them.

These are all on virtual console 7, not 1, before starting X.
Lucid installed from debootstrap, no gdm.

I can also confirm this Bug. I debbootstraped a new lucid, and if i try to boot with this System it hangs on ureadahead with exit status 4. After chroot from another system an removing ureadahead i can boot without problems. Starting ureadahead one time manual from a shell (so it creates /var/cache/ureadahead/pack) helps to avoid this.
