Bug Description

Trying to upgrade a 64-bit AMD system from Karmic to Lucid. On one of my attempts so far, this happened:

$ update-manager -c -d
extracting 'lucid.tar.gz'
authenticate 'lucid.tar.gz' against 'lucid.tar.gz.gpg'
Segmentation fault

I don't know when exactly this happened, but it was before the "WARNING: Failed to read mirror file" which AFAICS always happens otherwise.
