In fact it does not seem an issue of Kaffeine but of the driver because it does not work as well with Me-Tv.

This bug is related to https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/622397 - the driver for this specific DVB-T card is not yet available in the Linux kernel.
