Bug Description

The built-in screen is blank with nvidia drivers enabled on Macbook Pro 5,5 13.3" model. The screen does work with the nouveau drivers, though they do not work on native resolution. Nvidia drivers do work with external monitor when configured with nvidia-xconfig --twinview command in cli. The problem seems to be caused by incorrectly read EDID information from the monitor as seen in xorg.0.log (full log attached):

(WW) Mar 29 17:49:50 NVIDIA(GPU-0): The EDID read for display device DFP-0 is invalid: the

The DFP-0 is the internal monitor, DFP-1 is external. nvidia-settings shows the max resolution for the internal monitor as 640x480, which does not give out any picture at all. Just blank screen with the backlight on.

That version is no more supported; please reopen that bug if the actual archive found version also has the same issue.
