WebControl.py Script has missing python packages

Bug Description

Binary package hint: amarok

Script attempts to:

from qt import *
Error: No module named qt

I don't know much about this, but it seems that this script requires some python packages that are not installed. Maybe the appropriate packages should be a dependency of Amarok.

What happens if you install python-qt4?

Also, what were you doing when getting this error?

sorry, that should probably be asking what happens if you install python-qt3

Oh yeah. I see :)

Needs to bump python-qt3 from a suggests to a depends.

I'll do that when I upgrade amarok to 1.4.2

Wow,
Didn't think that anyone would actually look at this let alone get back to
me about it!
Open Source is amazing!

I should have been more clear about what exactly I was doing in Amarok to
cause the error.

Loving Ubuntu so far.

Yay :)

I happen to get emailed about most of the kde bugs - so if it's an easy fix, and i've got time, then it's quickly fixed :)

I'm most curious as to how you got that error though - i just used locate on the shell script, ran the shell script through konsole, and then played with it - not trying with amarok at all.

I got the error by just running the script through amarok's interface.
Default Ubuntu Dapper Drake Desktop install. Had just installed Ubuntu and
then amarok, nothing else.
