Bug Description
Binary package hint: usb-creator
The new version of usb-creator for lucid beta,
it works. Thanks.
It booted, and it has "format Okay?" pop up.
BUT. you can not log in.
I am not sure which is wrong,
Casper boot disk or usb creator,
but anyway, I can not log in.
GDM window comes up,
but what is the ID, what is the PASS here?
Note:
What I did is,
1.Boot a daily build CD of 2010/3/28.
2.Create USB.
3.Reboot.
4.GDM want ID/PASS entered.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better.
The USB boot disk should function exactly the same as the Live CD: it should not ask you for a password, but automatically log in. Are you sure your computer actually booted from the USB drive (and didn't just boot an existing Ubuntu install)? The default user/pw for the Live CD is "ubuntu" with a blank password, you can try that.
Can you see if the problem is still present in the final release of Lucid? Thanks.
