Bug Description

Binary package hint: prism

With firefox 3.6+nobinonly-0ubuntu6 and prism 1.0b3+svn20100210r62050-0ubuntu1 installed, firefox fails to start up. It doesn't report any error message, running "firefox" from the command line simply does nothing. This does not occur the very first time firefox is run after prism is installed; this first time, it runs correctly and reports that the the Prism add-on has been installed. However, subsequent attempts to run firefox simply do nothing. Removing the prism add-on, either by uninstalling the prism package or by disabling the prism add-on in firefox, corrects this problem.

The trouble is with Firefox and not Prism.
