Emptying trash does not update file count

Using the latest nautilus in Lucid dev, emptying the deleted items folder does not update the file count in the bottom left of the status bar. This is reproducible on my system, add a file to the Deleted Items folder, navigate to the DI folder, hit clear but the bottom left corner will still say "1 item" when it should say no items.

thanks for the report, is this reproducible with another user created there? this could be the resurrection of bug https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=425686

I cannot reproduce this error on nautilus 2.30.0 ubuntu lucid beta.

1. Opened my trash folder via the icon at the bottom right
2. there were 19 items in the folder, I clicked 'empty trash' near the top right
3. '0 items'

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. A new version of Nautilus is available on Maverick and we are wondering if this bug is still an issue for you with that version? Could you please test and comment back? Thanks in advance.
