Lucid - Adding Lightning from the repos does nothing

Binary package hint: thunderbird

Fresh install of Lucid Beta 64bit:
In Synaptic, Lightning does not appear in Thunderbird after it is added with Synaptic. Lightning does not appear in the list of addons in Thunderbird.

It seems not to exist for 64bit version on the official website it talks just a x86 version

Thanks, there is actually an unofficial 64bit version somewhere on the web (as I found out with some googling).
However my point in filing this bug was to point to a problem with Lucid in its current Beta stage. Lightning *should* work in Lucid if a user decides to install it from either Synaptic or the Software Centre. At the moment, the Software Centre on my laptop indicates that Lightning is installed, but Thunderbird remains unchanged.
