Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-system-tools

I can't change the real name of a user with users-admin in lucid.
If I try, I always get an error-dialog saying
"The configuration could not be saved
An unknown error occurred."
Stderr says:
"(users-admin:####): Liboobs-WARNING **: There was an unknown error communicating asynchronously with the backends: Malformed message was sent"

Thanks for your report. I strongly suspect your problem is the same as bug 533870. Are you using a 64 bits version of Ubuntu? If so, then please try the package from comment #30 on that report, and tell me whether it fixes the problem. Thanks, and please continue reporting bugs in Ubuntu!
