Can't add contacts to SIP account

Binary package hint: empathy

I'm not able to add any contact to my SIP account. When I choose option Chat>Add contact, SIP account is greyed out. It's painful to enter numbers every time I want to call someone.

The same thing is the case with an IRC account.

Confirmed.

Using Ubuntu 10.04 and Empathy 2.30.1 and only the SIP Account configured. I can enter a new contact, but it does not show up anywhere.

Same problem here with Empathy 2.30.1 and SIP account.

I can't even enter a new contact.
