When I did the initial beta 1 install of 10.04 alternate 64bit install postfix installed, i uninstalled postfix with aptitude remove postfix then a day later I went to install it and got a message similar to the above error message. I then tried to install the older version postfix 2.6.5-3, to no avail. then I tried to run aptitude remove, then aptitude purge, then aptitude install. Still no joy. Help me obi wan ubuntu, you are my only hope.
