Does it looks like this (attachment - nautilus windows is for comparison)? Firefox doesn't respect font settings set in Gnome. It only worked in 9.04 with Firefox 3.0 (if I remember correctly). It's annoying because the change of font rendering style is the first thing i do after installation. Standard font settings looks to blurry on most LCDs.
There is a bug on bugzilla. mozilla. org (https:/ /bugzilla. mozilla. org/show_ bug.cgi? id=536816) but nothing is happening there.
