mail option opens evolution even though system default mailer is thunderbird

I have upgraded to 10.04LTS Beta from 9.10.
Thunderbird 3.0.3 has been installed via Software Centre after upgrade.
Thunderbird has been set to the preferred mail application via System->Preferences->Preferred Applications.
The "Mail", "Compose New Message" & "Contacts" entries in the Indicator Applet (Envelope section) all try to open Evolution.

Have removed Evolution via Synaptic and the Envelope icon has been removed from the Indicator Applet. Intended behaviour perhaps? Should this be moved to feature request instead of bug report?

Does Indicator Applet still have a "Set Up Mail..." menu option when you removed Evolution? What happened when you clicked it?

Either way, I think a feature request should be made for Indicator Applet to support Thunderbird.

No, No "Set Up Mail" option now that Evolution has been removed. When it was there, it opened Evolution Set up dialog. Will post a Thunderbird support feature request.
