Bug Description

It would be great if Mahara could support links to externally hosted powerpoint presentations, such as slideshare.net.

It provides code to embed within a blog or webpage, and I can see how we could already embed them into HTML text boxes (if you don't already filter the tags), but some users wouldn't find this user friendly.

We're looking at loosening up the filters in feature request #3115.

Is this feature request therefore about making a blocktype for slideshare?

You can now embed slideshare presentations as of Mahara 1.1.2.

One idea for making a blocktype might be to change the 'externalvideo' blocktype into a 'embed' blocktype, where people can paste any old embed code and we clean_html() it.
