It's fair to say that all four files here refer to the same version - could this be condensed into one question, and even better, could a default yes option be provided?

Interesting idea, will look into it for 1.6 (1.5 is just finished, probably fixing an edgy compatibility bug)

Won't be an option for 1.6 since there won't be a 1.6. I'm working on new package scanning code for 2.0, where this will be fixed.
