Bug Description
Binary package hint: firefox
Hello,
The drag and drop features for Firefox 3.6 are partially broken in Ubuntu (and Kubuntu) Lucid Beta 1 with all available updates applied. The ability to install addons by dragging and dropping them into the addons window rarely works and the ability to drag and drop URLs onto the desktop to create internet shortcuts rarely works too. The problem also occurs with new firefox profiles.
If any other users here need to know a work around for installing addons, I am now temporarily installing my favorite downloaded addons by right clicking on them and choosing to "Open with Other Application", then selecting "Firefox". Firefox is not showing any errors when run from the terminal. Thanks,

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test a current, supported, Ubuntu version. If you can test it, and it is still an issue, we would appreciate if you could upload updated logs by running apport-collect 546721, and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.
