Bug Description

Binary package hint: rhythmbox

Rhythmbox will sometimes fail to connect to my Firefly (mt-daapd) server. It will say "Cannot connect to share_name" along with "Cannot connect to destination." The only workaround I have found is to click on the server name under "Shared" very shortly after launching Rhythmbox. If I wait too long it will fail, or so it seems. I am currently running a beta release of Ubuntu but it was the same under 9.10 Karmic stable. Connection to the daap server is via the localhost loopback, but I plan to move the server to a separate Linux system. Please advise if I can do anything to collect further information.

Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid beta 1
Rhythmbox 0.12.7-0ubuntu9
Rhythmbox plugin DAAP Music Sharing
Firefly (mt-daapd) server version svn-1696

When I log on my server in DAAP FireFly, I actually said he can not find the song, then I corrupted my database FireFly. Only problem encountered with Ubuntu Lucid last update

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. A new version of Rhythmbox is available on Maverick and we are wondering if this bug is still an issue for you with that version? Could you please test and comment back? Thanks in advance.
