RE: chillspot software package in Ubuntu Vers. 9.10
I'm sorry and apologize to whom it may concern; but - I'm not an expert at this bug reporting stuff or software errors or software coding. However, - I do want to do what I can to help out other people who are experts in that field and repay them for the many hours of good service this Ubuntu software has given to me. Microsoft never paid me either for my time in aiding them debug their products - UGH! - and they even charged me money and made me pay dollars for the privilege of "helping" them debug their stuff!!!

When I type in "Chillspot" in the search blank of Synaptic, nothing comes up???

At any rate here's the report I have to give to those who care or are involved with the problem solving of Ubuntu. ---

I downloaded chillspot but I think I failed to download something else that was required to make it run properly because I changed my mind in the middle of installing it and didn't want, what I thought, would be software that was, - or might be, - intrusive on my privacy. Therefore, I guess I interrupted the automatic process of installation and thus I'm now forever getting error messages regarding chillspot and have no way to stop them from appearing. This error message phenomena also interrupts the process of downloading ALL other additional software and does it two times during the loading and installation process. It would be nice if there was some simple way I could just click on a button and make all of this interruption process (phenomena) go away - but alas, such a good fortune is not to be mine, as yet. Thus, there you have my report. I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help.

BE AWARE of THE FOLLOWING -
Additionally, I have found out that all correspondence with this website and other Ubuntu websites is/are now put into a database by a "Bay area" company in California - to be "mined" and searched and displayed via such search and thus seen and viewed by others who have no business participating in our discussions and correspondence. THEREFORE - there is no more privacy among members of the UBUNTU communities and, thus, - I can't put my e-mail address on this correspondence, like I would like to do, so as to hear from others with a like mind and spirit. But instead --- all I can expect if I were to do such a thing, is just get more junk e-mail and "spam" for my efforts, if I were to furnish my e-mail address on this letter/note. It's now a sad day in many ways that there is now no more privacy what-so-ever. Technology is a double edged sword that cuts both ways. Sigh!
