Bug Description
After having some trouble with the Music Store, I decided to deauthorise my computer and then re-auth it.
After deauthorising, I opened the System > Preferences > Ubuntu One, but it did not open Firefox to allow the authorisation. Instead it just launches the preferences window with no information - like, it shows "Name:" but then nothing after it, "Username:" and nothing after it, etc.
I followed a tip online about removing Ubuntu One's entry from the Passwords And Encryption Keys utility, and when I opened the Ubuntu One preferences it all worked as it should.
I am using Ubuntu 10.04 with a home directory that was preserved from 9.10.

Chris,
the steps for reauthorizing your computer are as follows:
1. Quit the Ubuntu One client >Accessories- >Passwords and Encryption Keys /one.ubuntu. com/account/ machines/ >Internet- >Ubuntu One
2. Open Applications-
3. Click on the arrow next to "Passwords"
4. Right-click on the Ubuntu One token and select "Delete"
5. Go to https:/
6. Click on the checkbox next to your computer
7. Click the "Remove selected computers" button
8. Open Applications-
9. a web page should open, prompting you to add your computer to your Ubuntu One account
10. Add your computer
Glad you were able to get things straightened out.
I am marking your bug a duplicate of bug 545506 . " removing the current computer from the Ubuntu One account using Ubuntu One Preferences does not delete the ubuntuone token from the keyring which prevents a user from adding their computer back to the account later without manually deleting the ubuntuone token from the keyring."
