Unsupported Hardware: [2001:3704] D-Link DWL-G122 USB Network Adapter rev. A2

The following hardware does not work out of the box in Lucid:

Tested on Asus T4 Desktop and Dell laptop. Works out of the box using Ubuntu 9.10 Desktop/Install i386 Beta-1 Connected to WEP encrypted access point using passphrase and hidden access point with WPA2 encryption.

p6rob, I am thinking that we probably have a different revision number. Could you please provide the output for the "lsusb" command while you have your DWL-G122 connected to your machine.

Taken from the label on the device:
 The Part number is EWLG122EU.C1G
 Hardware Version CW.
 Firmware Version 3.30(E)

Output from lsusb:

Thank you for this information.

Looking at the USB ID for your device, it seems that we have the same model, but you have a different revision and USB ID than the one reported.

2001:3704 - DWL-G122 802.11g rev. A2 (Fails)
07d1:3c03 - DWL-G122 802.11g (Works)

I will update the bug title to specify.
