applications does't appear on the task panel

Hollman, can you reproduce this using a live CD ?

You need a window list applet on your panel, and it looks like you don't have one (I can't see any grab handles for it)

Fabian: I boot from livecd and the task menu appear.

I add from Add to panel the Window list and thats all.
