Bug Description

Binary package hint: software-center

In Ubuntu8.04 and later, after a fresh install, I could select "games" and un-checkmark the pre-loaded games to remove them all at once. How sweet that was!

Please consider adding a subcategory under "installed" like there appears to be when you select the "free software" category and can see a "games" subcategory. I have had to laboriously remove one package at a time, authenticate my password, wait for each removal, and read through the list of installed applications to find the next game - time after time. What a sour experience!

Nevertheless, I really like Ubuntu!

Hi Ken. There are two issues you are describing here. The first is that the installed software section is uncategorized (LP: #437072). The second is that multiple selection is not available (LP: #448370). Both of these issues have already been reported in Launchpad. I will mark this bug as a duplicate of the more important issue you described, namely that multiple selection is not available. Thanks for this report and please continue to file reports about any bugs you may encounter. Thanks.
