Bug Description
Binary package hint: rhythmbox
Ubuntu 10.04 lucid lynx
rhythmbox 0.12.7-0ubuntu7
When I attempted to transfer some songs to my iphone I was given the error "Error transferring track Unable to send file to MTP device: PTP Layer error 02ff: LIBMTP_
For each mp3 it would give the error and after about 5 it crashed. Perhaps transferring to an iphone isn't supported, I just assumed it was because the iphone showed up in rhythmbox.

thank you for your bug report, could you apply the current update, restart your session and see if that's still an issue? the iphone was detected as a mtp device but should be handled as an iphone now
