Bug Description

Binary package hint: konsole

ii konsole 4:4.4.1-0ubuntu3 X terminal emulator for KDE 4

The display of fonts in konsole is very broken wrt colours/bolding.
See attached screen shot by way of example.

Changing to another font didn't change the end result.
Running under stock ubuntu desktop (gnome), lucid beta.

This behaviour wasn't observed in karmic, or prior.

I have noticed this as well, particularly with fixed-width bitmap fonts. I'm trying to use profont, which worked great in 9.10. On 10.04, any time there is bolding or color, Konsole has trouble - appearing to use another font entirely.

The terminal font problem arose for me on the upgrade to 10.04. It appears whenever a font other then DejaVu sans mono is used. I have included a screenshot of the problem as well.
