Bug Description

Similar to Jaiku (see issue 300746), Qaiku doesn't limit replies with a number of characters. The 140 character limitation should be used with new messages, but not with replies.

Henri, I think with gwibber 2.29.94 you can send longer messages too though the interface will show you that you have exceeded the characters limit, can you please give it a try?

Correct, in my Gwibber 2.31.1 it does show the warning (writing area turns red) on longer messages but does allow posting them.

However, in Qaiku replies (not initial posts) it would be nice to remove the character limit indication completely.

BTW, Qaiku works quite nicely in this Gwibber version when you use my version of qaiku.py from http://gist.github.com/359045
