Logo & throbber do not appear

Hello,

  I just upgraded to lucid beta1, and I realized that neither the logo nor throbber of the xsplash theme appear during boot up.
  Funny thing I noticed that xsplash version in lucid is the same one I was using in karmic (I had karmic-updates enabled at that time), yet I never had that problem in karmic.

Note that this happens during boot, but if I test the xsplash theme after I login (by issuing sudo xsplash command from a terminal), it looks fine

We're not using xsplash in the startup in Lucid.
