Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-system-tools
When I try to create a new user, a dialog appears asking for the name of the new user. That dialog have the following informational message:
Short name must consist of:
➣ lower case letters from the English alphabet
➣ digits
➣ any of the characters ".", "-" and "_"
The above message shows untranslated in my Spanish desktop, albeit it's translated in Launchpad since 2010-02-06, as you can see here:
and the translation is included into the /usr/share/
ricardo@kadath:~$ strings -eS /usr/share/
➣ lower case letters from the English alphabet
➣ digits
➣ any of the characters ".", "-" and "_"
➣ letras en minúscula del alfabeto inglés
➣ dígitos
➣ cualquiera de los caracteres «.», «,» y «_»
I attach an screenshot to illustrate the problem.
