How do you suspend your computer - do you shut the lid of the laptop, or press a “suspend” button? If you suspend by shutting the lid then it's quite likely that you're running into bug #535640, which has been sent upstream to the Intel developers.

I'm marking this bug as a duplicate of bug #535640, which describes the
same symptoms and has a similar i915_error_state.
