Summary: When the Ubuntu 10.04 beta 1 disc is inserted in a Windows machine and the user runs wubi.exe the installer application does not reboot the machine when "Demo and full installation" is selected.
Hardware: Tested on Windows 7 32bit netbook and 64bit desktop. User Account Control enabled on both, set to default levels.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Insert the Ubuntu 10.04 beta 1 desktop disc.
2. If prompted, select to run "wubi.exe" otherwise open the CD Drive and select "wubi.exe"
3. At the UAC prompt select "Yes" to allow wubi.exe to make changes
4. When the Ubuntu Menu dialog opens, select "Demo and full installation"
5. The dialog prompts "Reboot required" select the "Reboot now" radio option
6. Click Finish
Expected results:
The Ubuntu Menu closes and the machine restarts into an Ubuntu Demo or Installation
Actual results:
The "Reboot now" dialog closes and returns to the Ubuntu Menu. The machine does not reboot.
