Bug Description

Binary package hint: amarok

I just installed Amarok on a new install of Ubuntu 10.4 Beta 1. I have selected the folder where my music is, but Amarok will not build my collection. I clicked on update collection and Fully Rescan Entire Colelction multiple times and it will still not build the collection.

I found an earlier bug with a fix released (316574) and tried the solution there which was to install MySQL. I did that and it seemed to work.

Same problem but after updating a working amarok karmic installation: amarok didn't find the former collection and even after deleting the folder in /home/user/kde/share/apps/amarok/mysqle/amarok the collection cannot be rebuild.

Is this still a problem with 11.04 actually?

Personally, I have not used Amarok in a while now and can not confirm if it is still a bug or not.
