Bug Description
After installing lucid on my notebook, I am experiencing massive problem with USB mass storage that did not occur in karmic.
- A 1 GB SD card is recognized as 512 MB, but functional appart from that
- A 4 GB SDHC card is totally unusable and produces a heap of I/O errors, however it is functional in other machines and in karmic
- One USB hard drive is readable from udev, partition table is recognized, but freezes at that point and becomes unusable (i.e. fdisk, mount, etc. hang forever)
- Another USB hard drive looked functional, then was silently dropped with massive filesytem corruption
The kernel logs should be attached, this is a too general problem to break it down into the different devices I think.
