Bug Description
Binary package hint: gdm
On boot I am left with a cursor and my background image after the plymouth boot screen goes away, desktop icons and the bars on top+bottom never come up.
I tried alt+sysreq+k and it reset back to the login screen, i logged in and was left with the same thing.
This is only on a fully updated system, my apport information is from a daily cd from about 2 weeks ago.
I have a feeling this may be related to a bug 542437, i filed it shortly before i restarted my system, which as of the beta freeze was working fine.
