Purge and Reinstall Isn't Functioning

Bug Description

If /etc/dovecot is removed, purge and install for dovecot cease the function.

sudo apt-get install dovecot-imapd dovecot-pop3d

Errors were encountered while processing:
 dovecot-common
 dovecot-imapd
 dovecot-pop3d

Creates a loop style sequence where purging and installing both cause errors, the only way to fix is to create the directory, and 3 blank conf files, then you can successfully purge and install.

Oke, I solved my problem regarding this issue.

Tough it does not look the same as this bug. I had problems with a wrong hostname in my /etc/resolv.conf.
