System->Help->Ubuntu Book Excerpt doesn't respect browser setting

Bug #54178 reported by Thomas M. Hinkle

Bug Description

1. Set default browser to epiphany
2. Open System->Help->Ubuntu Book Excerpt
3. Wait for firefox to open (Ack!)

The Online Documentation correctly opens epiphany, so presumably this is just a question or making the Ubuntu Book Excerpt menu item work like the Online Documentation.

Just curious -- why is the Ubuntu Book Excerpt link using a different mechanism than Online Documentation? This still seems weird to me.

Read the bug this is a duplicate of - it depends on the file being on your local system.

one of them is a local file, so something you can open rather quickly to get the format, the other one is an URL which is likely to be slower and not as easy to open (can use a redirection, etc)
