Bug Description

Problem:

Nearly all packages that have some network/internet functionallity (firefox, synaptic etc) fail DNS Lookups and similar tasks due to IPv6 not degracing on networks that do not support the IPv6 protocol.

To reproduce:

Connect to a network with poor/no IPv6 support and attempt to connect to the internet with any package with internet functionallity.
