Bug Description

I can copy files to my Ubuntu One folder in Nautilus, but there is no Ubuntu One icon any more in my system tray, and when I click on the menu entry under Applications/Internet, it will not work, and gives an error:

    Could not launch 'Ubuntu One'

Failed to execute child process "ubuntuone-client-applet" (No such file or directory)

I checked in Synaptic, and Ubuntu One is still installed and listed there.

I can login to my Ubuntu One account in Firefox, but none of the files I put into my Ubuntu One folder in Nautilus recently have been uploaded to my account.

I am using Ubuntu 9.04 on an AMD64 Athlon CPU, with 4 GB RAM. I have a 2 GB Ubuntu One account. I have an ADSL broadband account which usually downloads at 4 Mbit/s and uploads around 400 kbit/s.

Hi Kavoura,

I think you may be affected by bug 528203 which has a workaround documented in its description. Can you try following those steps and see if that fixes the problem for you?

Thank you,

Joshua
