Bug Description
Binary package hint: oem-config
Installed Kubuntu 64bit from alternate image. Performed an OEM install using Alternate isos as of 18 March.
After install and setting oem-config to run on next boot, I rebooted the system.
On the next boot, oem-config ran and I was able to create a user and it seemed to succeed in configuring the system for the new user.
After oem-config completed, however, instead of restarting X and launching KDM so I could log in, X seemed to hang, giving me only a black screen and an X cursor. I had to reboot to get KDM and log in to the newly configured system.
This is new, previous OEM installs did not appear to behave this way...
